The treatment time is 5-10 minutes per area.
Exceeding the recommended treatment time is not dangerous, but it may be inefficient and not provide any additional benefits. We don’t recommend exceeding a treatment time of 10 minutes.
Depending on your horse’s needs and condition, we recommend up to three treatments per day with a minimum of 90 minutes in between.
The lifetime of the LED lights is 50,000 hours, which compares to about 600,000 five-minute treatments.
The LED by CHEVAL Treatment Systems utilises four specific wavelengths: 660/670 nm, 730 nm, 810 nm, and 850 nm. These particular wavelengths are within the optical window and carefully selected to target various therapeutic applications at maximum effect and depth.
Blue light possesses antibacterial effects, like red light. However, we don’t use blue light because it’s outside the optical window and can barely penetrate the skin. More importantly, blue light can be damaging, and some studies even show evidence of bacteria resistance development from repeated usage of blue light.
The LED by CHEVAL Treatment Systems comprises infrared, near-infrared, and red lights. Infrared light exists beyond the visible spectrum of light, making it invisible to the human eye.
Interesting fact: While we perceive red light as more intense than infrared, infrared light’s longer wavelengths enable it to penetrate deeper into the body, making it an effective choice for various therapeutic applications.
Our LED strips are specially designed for the equestrian world and customized specifically for the LED by CHEVAL Treatment Systems. Built to last, they are durable and resistant to water, dirt, dust, and more!
Because these LED lights are tailor-made for our systems, they can’t be replaced with any others. But don’t worry! We offer a four-year warranty; if anything happens to your system, we’ll take care of the repairs.

Subscription faq
- Select the LED by CHEVAL system for your horse and add it to the Cart.
- Go to Checkout.
- Add your Billing and Shipping information.
- Review your order summary.
- Enter your Card Details, read and accept our Terms and Conditions, and place your order.
- You will receive an Order Confirmation by email, and we will automatically create an account where you can Log In to manage your subscription.
Your payment is charged on the date of your first order and, thereafter, subsequent payments every month.
Normally, the delivery time is only 2-3 working days.
The first payment for your subscription is charged when you place your order, and subsequent payments occur on a monthly basis.
Yes, you can add both subscription and non-subscription products to the same order.
Log In to your account to manage your subscription. Here, you can update your contact information, order additional products, modify your payment method, or opt to cancel your subscription.
You have the possibility to buy your rental product within the first three months of your subscription. We will deduct the total amount you’ve paid for your subscription from the product’s listed price, which can be found on the Product Page.
To initiate the purchase process, please send an email to info@ledbycheval.com within the first three months of your subscription.
The LED by CHEVAL insurance is included, so if anything happens, your system is covered.
You can cancel your subscription at any time. There’s no binding time, but you must return your product before the next renewal. Otherwise, you will be charged for an additional month.
Follow these steps to cancel your subscription:
- Log In to your account and cancel your subscription.
- We will handle your cancellation shortly after and send you an email with information about how to return the product to us.
- Ensure the product is cleaned and in an acceptable condition for return. Make sure to pack it securely in the box you received it to prevent any damage during transit.
- Take the packaged product to the postal office for shipment. Be sure to obtain a receipt for the shipment, as this will serve as proof that you sent the product.
- After receiving and checking your product, we will confirm your cancellation.
It’s essential to follow these steps carefully to ensure a successful cancellation and return process, as well as to avoid any additional charges.
The product must be returned in acceptable condition and cleaned.
If you don’t send your product before your next renewal, you will be charged for an additional month. If you still don’t return your product within the next month, you will be charged the price of the product.
You will be charged the cost of restoring the product to acceptable condition or replacing it with a new one.
Acceptable condition is clean and whole. Tears, holes, and dirt are not acceptable.
